In support of their new release Americana, Neil Young and Crazy Horse have announced US tour dates for later this year. After a couple of August shows scheduled for Red Rocks and the Outside Lands Fest in San Francisco, the tour begins in earnest on October 3rd. Ironically, with its first three shows in Ontario, the Americana tour starts in Neil’s native Canada. The band’s new record is released today and tickets for some shows go on sale later this week. In a new cross-marketing twist, those who purchase tickets online will also receive a free copy of the new CD.
